Briefly Padlet is a new generation, up-to-day and electronic cork board.

As with the cork board, you can edit the posts you want on it as you like.

Padlet is a website where educators and students can work together to create beautiful works. Activities can be created to support teamwork on the site, diversity can be provided by assigning homework on the same subject, and adding different perspectives can broaden the students’ horizons.

You can upload a lot of different forms of document. A word document, a link, a video, an image, a drawing etc.

For sharing ideas and informations, Padlet is very useful. As well as using in the class, students can be use for group projects or sharing notes. And also teachers can use with each other to share information and ideas. Of course Padlet can be use in a lot of different areas, but I am only focusing the educational part.

Here is my board in Padlet. For me, it’s use is quite easy. Basic topics can be created in minutes. IT allows you to personalize your board and it is a good thing for student’s interest. I think a lot of students like personalizing things from their notebooks to their assignments. 

I think it’s an app with a place in education.
